Your Crew
Captain Preston and Chennie grew up in Hood River and learned to sail in the Columbia Gorge before the days of windsurfers!
In 2007 they quit their jobs in Portland, bought a Tartan 37 sailboat in New York and went sailing south to the islands. They ended up on the west coast of Florida after about a year out sailing where they worked as yacht brokers for Whiteaker Yacht Sales the past several years.

Captain- Preston holds a USCG 100 Ton Masters license to go with a lifetime of building and repairing boats. He has sailed from Canada to California, New York to Florida, the Bahamas as well as the Gulf of Mexico and the Florida Keys

1st Mate- Chennie has been sailing for 20+ years, some in the Columbia River and most in the Bahamas and Gulf of Mexico! She is an amazing chef, organizer and keeps the Captain going in the right direction and from running aground!!

Greeter and Mascot when she
gets to come sailing with us!
